Ā Young Carers

The Young Carers Activities Service is a commissioned service by the Telford & Wrekin Council, based in the All Age Carers Centre.

​

We support children 5 to 17 years old andĀ provide activities that help young carers build confidence and resilience, improve wellbeing and reduce isolation.

​

  • Fortnightly Young Carers Youth Club with games, crafts, sports and special activities

  • Fun events and trips during holidays and half terms

Referring a Young Carer

What we get up to

Our youth club is a fun, welcoming space where young people can relax, try new things and make friends. Every session is packed with a variety of activities, including:

  • Games & Sports – from team games to chill-out challenges

  • Music – listen, create, or just enjoy

  • Cooking – get stuck into tasty recipes and learn new skills

  • Pottery – get creative with clay and hands-on making

  • Crafts – from painting to DIY projects and everything in between

  • …and much more! Whether you're coming to have fun, learn something new or just hang out, there’s something for everyone.
