COVID-19 Coronavirus UPDATE:

17/03/2020.  

 

A note from our CEO, Debbie Gibbon

 

Telford and Wrekin CVS are monitoring the news concerning the Covid-19 Coronavirus very closely.  We are holding ongoing regular management meetings and acting quickly to ensure any new preventative measures/recommendations are in place in terms of our building and the wellbeing of our project teams, tenants and clients.

CVS frontline delivery have some changes:

As of tomorrow, our staff team will be enabled to work from home.  The Glebe Centre remains open.  

 

All activity which includes social interaction is cancelled until further notice.  This includes: 

·       SENDIASS workshops and drop-ins

·       All carers Wellbeing Groups 

·       Telford Young Carers activities and Youth Club

·       Telford Young Adult Carers Inbetweeners activities

·       Telford Autism Hub drop-in on Fridays

Our Wellbeing Cafe in Madeley is closed until further notice.

Our teams will be available to provide telephone information, advice and guidance.  

Our teams will provide 'phone assessments and will continue to be available to our families via 'phone and email.

We will update this post further in due course, alongside CVS and individual projects' Facebook posts.

It has been an incredibly difficult day and I wish to send my heartfelt thanks to our teams for their resilience, flexibility and commitment at such a different and changing time for us, and to our partners for their support.
